BC Nurses United for Social Justice (BCNUSJ) is raising funds to support Mohammad Nabil Al-Mutawwar, our 27 year-old Palestinian intensive care nurse colleague in the West Bank who was shot August 14 while in his own home during an attack by Israeli settlers. Mohammad suffered a complete spinal cord injury leaving his lower limbs paralyzed, and he needs our support to fund his specialized rehab during this critical moment. BCNUSJ was contacted directly by our colleagues at the Palestinian Nurses and Midwives Association asking for us to support Mohammad, and raising funds is a concrete way for us to show solidarity.
