This Refugee Week, help us provide stability to refugees in Devon.
Be one of 100 people to give a regular donation of just ÂŁ5 a month.
We’ve been told that Devon isn’t welcoming to refugees and migrants - we don’t believe that for a second.
This year marks 25 years of Refugee Support Devon - a small, grassroots charity built by volunteers, neighbours supporting neighbours.
What started as a handful of volunteers has grown into a vital community of support across Devon. A place people turn to when systems fail. When families who have fled unimaginable hardship arrive here with nowhere to go, no support, and no place to call home.
Refugee Support Devon is that home.
And this June, as we celebrate Refugee Week, we’re inviting you to be part of that story.
Refugee Support Devon’s community of donors makes our work possible. Regular giving provides vital stability, and we’re continually uplifted by this generosity. We’d love you to join this community of support.
Just ÂŁ5 a month - a little more than the price of a coffee - can help us continue this work and build the stability we urgently need. Our goal is to reach 100 new monthly donors, helping secure the future of Refugee Support Devon so we can focus on what matters most:
Helping families rebuild their lives.
Supporting people in crisis - homeless, hungry, and in urgent need.
Helping people register with doctors, enroll their children in school, and access essential services so they can begin again.
Standing beside individuals navigating complex asylum systems, making sure they understand their rights when up against the hostile environment.
And when someone feels alone, unwelcome, we offer something just as important - connection, dignity, community, and a sense of belonging.
We are the warm, Devon welcome that people seeking sanctuary deserve.
But right now, that welcome is under pressure.
As hostility towards refugees rises in our communities, we’ve been there - on the streets, standing in solidarity, showing that hope is louder than hate.
And recently, when Shabana Mahmood announced plans to introduce further hostile environment policies - making it even harder for refugees and migrants to rebuild their lives in this country - we didn’t stay silent.
We were in Parliament, alongside partners across the country, urging our MPs to speak up for refugees and migrants in Devon - to stand for dignity, fairness, and humanity.
This Refugee Week, we are coming together.
As we mark this year’s theme of courage - celebrating the strength, resilience, and contributions of refugees in our community - we’re asking you to show courage too.
Be one of 100 people to give a regular donation of just ÂŁ5 a month.
Because this work only exists because people choose to care, time and time again.
For 25 years, that choice has changed lives.
Join us - and help us keep that welcome alive.
