Did you know that Matahari Women Workers' Center is the home of We Dream in Black Massachusetts chapter? Recently the team help complete a historic national survey of Black immigrant domestic workers with the National Domestic Workers' Alliance. Over 200 were surveyed in Massachusetts alone. We're excited to be activating and organizing with our community, but we need to help pay for all language justice training needs and the language translation and interpretation labor for the everyday organizing!
Live language interpretation for one to one meetings, member meetings, political education trainings, material translation for public health info and know your rights for workers in Haitian Kreyol, Lugandan, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and much more!
For reference $25 covers 1 hour of interpretation. Can you help us cover 100 hours ($2500) of language interpretation needed for us to organize?!
