The Alliance for Social and Economic Justice is a collaboration between cultural workers and community organizers to provide community-serving political advocacy, culture, media, services and educational activities for low-income people.

The Alliance is a consortium of organizations providing advocacy and services for low-wage workers and immigrant workers.

The Alliance produces political, cultural and artistic events and performances. The Alliance networks organizations in theoretical discussion to develop a common political program and people's platform through convening a Congress of the People and an on-line discussion platform at asej.net. The Alliance holds political discussions, organizing skills building workshops, leadership development, cultural events and art exhibits for the community. The Alliance produces posters, videos, a monthly TV show, newsletters, websites, social media and phone apps, and has an on-line radio station. The Alliance provides know your rights workshops and materials for immigrant workers and their families.

A project of the Alliance, the Center for Social and Economic Justice acts as an incubator for emerging organizations, facilitates new coalitions between existing organizations, and promotes collaboration and mutual support between organizations.   The Center provides workspace, meeting space and support services to community-serving organizations.
