Americans for Health is a grassroots movement dedicated to protecting the democratic process and ensuring that every American has access to quality, affordable healthcare.

We got our start in the Heartland, where we fought to expand Medicaid through statewide ballot measures — giving voters, not politicians, the power to decide. Since then, we’ve carried that fight into the federal courts, state legislatures, and Congress itself. Wherever the debate over healthcare is happening, we’re there — defending Medicaid and Medicare, lowering prescription drug costs, protecting reproductive rights, and holding corporations and politicians accountable.

Our mission is simple: use every avenue available — from the ballot box to the courtroom — to advance the right of all Americans to the care they deserve. We believe healthcare is not just a policy issue, but a question of freedom, dignity, and democracy.
