Amy K for Greenbelt
Amy K for Greenbelt City Council
Community, Equity, and Accessibility for all
Greenbelt’s strength has always come from its people.
When federal jobs are cut, when neighbors face eviction, when vital institutions are under strain - we turn to each other. Amy believes that resilience comes from building trust, connection, and shared responsibility.
A member of Council since Jan 2023, Amy proudly votes and works for the people: backing non citizen voting rights, standing with renters against unfair evictions, and supporting protections that keep our community safe and welcoming. She will continue to fight for the policies that protect every Greenbelter and ensure our city is prepared for the challenges ahead.
Amy has lived in Greenbelt for over ten years and has a consistent history of service.
Serving on the boards of Greenbelt Nursery School and the Labor Day Festival committee; working for Friends of Greenbelt Theatre; and leading and expanding the Greenbelt Pumpkin Festival. A proud GHI member and single mother of three PGCPS students, Amy knows firsthand the challenges families face - and the power of neighbors who care for one another.
Now more than ever, we must rely on each other to create a stronger Greenbelt, together.
Amy connects residents, creates pathways for involvement, and works to ensure that no one is left unseen.
