The Arc of the Piedmont Tri-County is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advocating for and serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and their families across the Piedmont Tri-County region. As part of a nationwide network of The Arc, our local chapter works to ensure that every individual—regardless of ability—has the opportunity to live a fulfilling, inclusive life in their community.

We provide a range of services and supports tailored to the needs of individuals with I/DD, including advocacy, community engagement, education, and connections to critical resources. Whether it’s helping someone find meaningful employment, navigate systems of care, build life skills, or simply feel empowered and respected, The Arc of the Piedmont Tri-County is committed to standing beside individuals and families every step of the way.

Rooted in the values of dignity, respect, and person-centered planning, we collaborate with schools, service providers, government agencies, and other community partners to promote inclusion and create lasting change.
