The Barnard Bears PTA is the parent teacher association for the Barnard Elementary School in Washington, DC. The PTA is a group of parents and staff working together to support the Barnard community. Membership is open to all parents, staff, and community members. Barnard Elementary is located in the Petworth neighborhood of Washington, DC. Barnard serves students from PK-3 through 5th grade. Barnard has four star STAR rating and recently won the Bold improvement award. Barnard is also home to DCPS flagship autism program.
