We have had too many near-misses. Barnard has a very small drop-off area and not enough space for the cars that move too fast through the neighborhood. Our crossing guards and security guards do a heroic job but it's not enough. We need traffic enforcement at pickup and dropoff for the rest of the school year, and a Vision Zero investment FAST with physical infrastructure changes like speed tables etc. to make cars slow down...
