Bostonians for an Elected School Committee is a coalition fighting to bring back a democratically elected school committee in Boston, a right taken away from us in 1991. Our question on the November 2021 ballot asked voters, “Should the current appointed school committee structure be changed to a school committee elected by the residents of Boston?” A resounding 79% said YES!
