We focus on addressing the challenges of decarbonization and ensuring a just transition.
Our efforts are primarily centered on addressing the challenges of building decarbonization, aiming to contribute significantly to the environmental sustainability of Somerville.
In 2023 we helped some city councilors understand the state’s newest building codes, enabling them to quickly adopt the Municipal Opt-In Specialized Code. We also convened residents to brainstorm and distill four ideas for improving Mayor Ballantyne's Climate Forward Plan update.
We strive to hold meetings once per quarter.
We continually seek to understand you - our neighbors, how the climate crisis affects you, and your ideas to ensure a just transition.
