Citizens Against Tyranny Network
Citizens Against Tyranny Network is a nonpartisan grassroots movement of everyday people refusing to stand by while democratic norms are dismantled. Born from shared concern across communities, C.A.T.N. grew from late-night conversations into a national network with a regional organizing hub, 50501 Joplin, dedicated to education, outreach, and collective action.
Grounded in constitutional ideals, we confront authoritarianism, corruption, and abuse of power head-on, regardless of political party or position. We defend the rule of law, protect fundamental rights, expose authoritarian actors, demand transparency and accountability, and work to break the grip of concentrated power that silences dissent and fuels inequality.
We organize around the most pressing threats to liberty: ICE raids and racial profiling tearing families apart; anti-protest laws and surveillance silencing dissent; the gutting of healthcare, housing, and public education; militarized policing used to protect the powerful; officials who defy oversight and weaponize government against opponents; and billionaire-controlled media flooding public life with propaganda.
We are unequivocally committed to holding Donald †rump and his enablers accountable for their attacks on democratic institutions and the rule of law, including by pursuing impeachment, from abuses of emergency and military powers to efforts to undermine free elections and target vulnerable communities.
We reject the premise that ordinary people are powerless. Democracy is not for sale. Freedom is not granted; it is built through action, solidarity, and the refusal to be silent.
This is how freedom is protected: together.
