#ReaffirmTheOath is a grassroots effort by lawyers around the country who have been looking for ways to stand up for the rule of law during the recent unprecedented attacks on lawyers, law firms and the judiciary. The Checks and Balances website, which hosts the #ReaffirmTheOath home page and toolkit, is an outgrowth of the ABA Task Force for American Democracy to share unbiased, factual information about American democracy, and opportunities to support its continued vitality.
