The Coalition for Human Rights & Democracy in Bangladesh (CHRD Bangladesh) is a US-based nonprofit organization, but its scholarly membership spans three continents. It was born in February of 2021 and is fast expanding. The members come with a wealth of knowledge and experience in wide-ranging fields which include academics, research, engineering, medicine, journalism, political activities, and freedom fighting in the Bangladesh Liberation War. The common factor that binds them together is their deep sense of patriotism and commitment to the democracy and well-being of Bangladesh and its future generations.
