Colt's factory in West Hartford is making M4 assault rifles right now to send to Israel under a $37 million dollar US contract - guns Israel and West Bank settlers will use to kill Palestinians and steal Palestinian land.
In 2023, our protest outside the West Hartford Colt factory pushed the Biden administration to stall a transfer of 18,000 Colt assault rifles to Israel due to human rights concerns, which the new administration has reportedly now delivered. Colt assault rifles have also been used in US mass shootings, including at the Tree of Life synagogue in 2018, and Colt is linked to gun trafficking to Mexican drug cartels.
Whether at home or abroad, Colt profits from bloodshed. To end this genocide, we must stop arming Israel - including with deadly weapons made right in our backyard.
