Coventry Youth Activists (CYA) are a youth-led disability campaign group, organising for change so that young disabled people have a voice, barriers are broken down, and discrimination is challenged.

In 2022 we were the winners of the Sheila McKechnie Foundation’s “David and Goliath Award” for our campaign #FaceBookHasNoStandards.

We believe there should be a good mix of working on the campaign and looking after ourselves. We regularly plan CYA social nights so we can get out and have some fun with each other too!

Our ethos is to use creativity and kindness!
