Defend Democracy Abilene is a community led collective dedicated to protecting civil liberties and fostering mutual aid in the Big Country. We stand against authoritarianism, fascism, and systemic inequality through direct action, civic education, and local solidarity. We believe that democracy is not a spectator sport, it is a daily practice of showing up for our neighbors and holding power to account.
