The purpose of the Democratic Progressive Caucus shall be to strengthen and maintain a relationship between the progressive community and the Democratic Party. The Chapter will build on the foundation of the progressive history of the Democratic Party to promote the continued development and growth of core progressive ideas and principles both within and outside of the Democratic Party.
