Design for Peace is a worldwide network of designers committed to addressing conflict, division and violence. Designers in the network believe in the upholding of human rights, the intra-national organisations (e.g. the UN and its agencies; International Red Cross and Red Crescent; and global NGOs) that adhere to an international world order that recognises sovereignty of nation states, indigenous peoples and the animal kingdom.

Designers are fully committed to the value of empathy, collective continuance and conflict resolution (in all its forms) and play an active role in applying imaginative and generative design activism without violence and prejudice. We believe that we can apply the principles of autonomy, mutual aid and community to our everyday design actions and use the power of design to reshape the socio-political world of governance in the face of existential threats of a global war, unaligned AI, climate change and the rise of the oligarchic, tech-bro fascism that threatens the wellbeing of billions across the planet.
