The mission of the Empire State Campaign for Child Care is to achieve equitable access to quality child care for all children and working families in New York State.

Short-term goal: To win increased funding for child care in the 2018 budget for 1) equitable expansion of the child care subsidy program; 2) protection of providers and workforce from the impact of rising labor and operational costs; and 3) reduction of the high number of families who currently lack access to quality, affordable child care for their children.

Long-term goal: Develop and implement a clear plan to provide equitable access to quality child care for all New York children and working families, and a family sustaining income for child care providers
