Who are we? #EyesOnICE is a protest/solidarity group that started in Baltimore in April 2025 as a weekly demonstration in front of the ICE Field Office in Baltimore City. Our work is guided by the 7 Demands for the future we want to bring forth:
Abolition- Abolish ICE and DHS and build a humane immigration system in its place.
Amnesty- Grant amnesty and pathways to citizenship for the 11 million undocumented people living and working in this country.
Justice- Ensure due process for all and the release of all people being held in detention for non-violent offenses.
Freedom- End the private for-profit prison industry that generates billions from mass incarceration.
Privacy- Eradicate the mass surveillance state that tracks and monitors immigrants and is being weaponized against all of us.
Equality- Stop our immigration system from being used as a tool to advance a White supremacist agenda.
Accountability- Prosecute all who cover faces, shield identities, and avoid accountability as they violate human rights in this campaign of terror against immigrants.
We encourage towns and cities across the country to adopt the 7 Demands and join us in a weekly, bi-monthly, or monthly #EyesOnICE solidarity protest. There are ICE detention centers and field offices all across the country, providing a place to organize #EyesOnICE events. But really, a street corner in your neighborhood works just as well.
A decentralized protest movement allows us to act in synchronicity and coordination across the nation while still tailoring each event to our individual communities. A core principle of #EyesOnICE is a commitment to nonviolent action. All who participate in creating and sustaining these protests must make non-violence a pillar of action, and commit to always seeking de-escalation when conflict arises. Join us in making our communities stronger and safer by finding a spot near you and organizing an #EyesonICE protest group:

Why are we organizing, protesting, and fighting back? ICE is violently targeting immigrant communities with violence and vengeance we've never before seen. They've been given a mandate to fulfill increased quotas from the Trump Administration with goals of deporting tens of millions of human beings from United States soil. This is leading to ICE crackdowns that spread terror through immigrant communities, destabilizing the lives of families and children who live in a constant state of fear that ICE will break their windows and drag their loved ones away to a far-away detention center. People are being stripped of their fundamental right to due process to feed the machinery of a multi-billion dollar for-profit prison industry that wants undocumented people behind bars so that their labor can be extracted for free.
What do we stand for? We believe that our society should be organized to care for the needs of all people, and that requires cultivating and strengthening the resources that we all depend upon: our education system, our healthcare system, our food and nutrition system, our housing system. But this Administration is not interested in lifting up our communities, they are interested in tearing them down and imposing a cruel and punitive police state upon all of us. BIPOC communities have always lived under a harsh and punitive carceral state that would rather imprison and punish than uplift and nurture the full potential of all people. But as we watch the Trump Administration move so blatantly to bring forth their vision of a White Christian nation, free of brown-skinned and Muslim immigrants from the places Trump has called "shithole countries", we must move quickly to stop Trump's vision from taking hold.
We reject the Trump administration’s cruel treatment of immigrant people. We reject ICE’s efforts to terrorize immigrant communities by violating the rights of ALL people to due process and first amendment freedoms.
We stand in solidarity with all working people and students, regardless of nationality, religious affiliation, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
We stand in solidarity with Kilmar Abrego Garcia, Elsy Berrios, Mahmoud Khalid, Rumeysa Ozturk, and the countless others who are having their right to due process violated by ICE and DHS. We will fight for the justice that all of our immigrant brothers and sisters deserve.
We demand accountability for the extra-judicial operations of ICE and the Department of Homeland Security.
We fight for our future generations to live free from a surveillance and police state that violates the right of privacy of all people. We seek to live in a society in which we are all free of the intrusion of the state into our personal and private lives.
Why you should join us and create an #EyesOnIce protest group in your community:
Our strength is inextricably intertwined with our numbers. As the working people of our society and our planet, our numbers are many. And those members of the billionaire class in power are few. The strength of our movement will come from our ability to unify, mobilize and act in synchronicity. We must come from the bottom-up and organize so that we are powerful enough to overcome oligarchy and work together to truly advance the interests of our working class.
Resistance groups are springing forth in every community across this country. Each resistance group is like a patch on a quilt; the strength of our movement will be fully realized when we stitch all of our patches together to create the quilt. We will then be able to smother and extinguish the flames of fascism that are raging out-of-control.
Organizing our resistance requires an umbrella under which we all can stand and make the same demands. #EyesOnICE is designed to function like #TeslaTakedown in that any organization or group of individuals can come together to start an #EyesOnICE group, simply by adopting and working to achieve the 7 Demands. Whether it’s an Indivisible or DSA chapter or a coalition of unaffiliated groups and individuals, #EyesOnICE is a thread that can weave our resistances together, so that we have the strength and power to achieve our demands.
Join us in the streets.
In Solidarity.
