Fridays For Future in Kampala, Uganda is a student and youth led movement part of the global Fridays For Future movement inspired by Greta Thunberg. Every Friday from different locations of Uganda, young people are joining together to add their voices in action. Since 2019 we have grown onto a network of over 50,000 young people, spread in 5 universities, 25 schools in 4 districts of Uganda. We have in the recent mass climate strikes attracted increasing public participation and different organizations.

Our Objective:

To increase attention towards the climate crisis, influence policy and inspire action.
