Barred Business’ innovative way to educate, activate and engage black voters is through the activation of the Justice Impacted Vote. It is impossible to talk about Black voter mobilization without the activation of Justice impacted people, who constitute over 60% of the total US population under correctional control. It is with the impetus that Barred Business is mobilizing black justice impacted people to register other black justice impacted people to vote, become civically engaged, and politically educated, to build, cease, and activate power within our justice impacted community.
