The Georgetown Juvenile Justice Initiative seeks to raise the level of practice among juvenile defenders, both regionally and nationally. Our mission is to support, educate, and cultivate a community of attorneys practicing in our region, while simultaneously working to change the very systems in which our lawyers operate to improve our clients’ lives. Our unique position as a law school initiative allows us to harness the skills of law students, while offering students experiential learning opportunities in the field of juvenile justice.
