Housing Justice Working Group
Seattle faces an accelerating housing crisis. Tenants in our city pay half a billion dollars in rent every single month. Landlords are getting rich by making shelter unaffordable for working people. The mission of the Housing Justice Working Group is to create a Seattle without sweeps, evictions, or housing scarcity, where housing is a human right and not a commodity. We organize tenants to use our collective power as tenants to fight back against the landlord class and end the housing crisis once and for all.
Want to join the fight? Come to one of our events! We meet twice a week (food and beverages are provided). We also host a social once a month where you can get to know us and learn about the work we do.
