This group is here to educate, prevent, and stop hazing at Ithaca High School. ICSD is allied to a philosophy called Restorative Justice (RJ), that was adopted by the ICSD Baord of Education c2011. About 58% of all traditional school districts in the nation have also become wedded to it. It is an experiment tied to an online college and association of scholars who have an agenda that comes at a cost: victims of hazing are not protected because RJ does not allow for "punative" consequences, even for sexual assault. There are other safety issue concerns, to be addressed another time.
