At nearly 200 members strong, the Illinois Education Association Staff Organization (IEASO) is the staff union for professional and associate staff at the Illinois Education Association (IEA). The IEA represents public education employees and is the largest union in Illinois. IEASO is composed of employees who work in IEA communications computer services, field staff, general services, government relations, legal, membership processing, IEA print shop and teaching and learning and the IEA print shop. We were founded in 1970 to support and serve all IEA members. A large portion of IEA members are former IEA-NEA members. IEASO is an affiliate of the National Staff Organization.
