International Long Covid Awareness

International Long Covid Awareness logo teal, gray, and black

ILCA started in 2023 to unite the global Long Covid community to raise awareness.

Working together the global Long Covid commmunity established International Long Covid Awareness Day (March 15) and Month (March) were established, with continued efforts to push for the United Nations to recognize the day/month annually. A tricolor ribbon was designed by the community selecting the colors teal, gray and black.

ILCA works together with Long Covid organizations, groups, and individuals to raise Long Covid Awareness.

ILCA focuses on pushing for preventions (clean air, masking, etc.), funding for research for trials/biomarkers/treatments, social assistance, and the need for proper patient care/testing/monitoring, and continued training and education for healthcare workers.
