Migrant Action Centre
As migrants, many of us live in extreme precarity – be it our temporary status (or a lack thereof for some of us), exploitation at our workplaces, the housing crisis, a lack of healthcare, or the lack of eligibility for many other basic services and programs we all equally deserve.
Out of this precarity and the need for migrant voices, and the disconnect from the mainland, the Migrant Action Centre was born.
We empower migrants and collectively organize for better, for justice. We call for better working conditions, better pay, equal eligibility for all programs and services, and full and permanent immigration status for all.
