Mission Statement

The Muslim Action Committee (MAC) is a grassroots organization dedicated to empowering the local Muslim community to take principled political action. Independent from the masjid, we work to build awareness, organize collective power, and ensure our voices shape decisions at every level of government. Guided by Islamic values of justice and accountability, we seek to protect our community’s interests and stand in solidarity with oppressed peoples everywhere.

Goals

• Organize and mobilize the local Muslim community for effective civic and political engagement

• Educate the community on elected officials, policies, and issues that impact us locally and globally

• Build coalitions with Muslim organizations and broader justice-focused groups to amplify our impact

• Equip community members with the tools to register, vote, and hold representatives accountable

• Advocate for principled positions on critical issues, including Palestine and other causes of justice
