Mount Diablo Trails Alliance (MDTA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit trails stewardship and access advocacy organization. The organization is 100% volunteered-led, building a Shared Stewardship model with California State Parks. MDTA aims to achieve the main goals of the 2016 Road and Trail Management Plan (RTMP) for Mount Diablo State Park, focusing on Better Trails | Greater Access for all trail user groups. As part of its inaugural strategic plan Trails 2035, MDTA aims to 1) propose and win 15 additional miles of singletrack trails access for off-road cyclists, 2) build two ADA-compliant trails, and 3) help service 50 miles of trails by the end of 2035.
