MPS Parents 4 A Fair Budget is a community of Milwaukee parents and caregivers advocating for transparent, equitable, and student-centered budgeting in Milwaukee Public Schools.

We are committed to ensuring that budget decisions:

• Reflect the real needs of students and school communities
• Include meaningful input from parents, educators, and School Engagement Councils (SECs)
• Protect student-facing staff and stable school environments
• Prioritize equity over one-size-fits-all approaches

Our work focuses on increasing awareness, organizing collective action, and holding decision-makers accountable when processes fall short of district policy and community expectations.

We believe strong schools require transparency, collaboration, and trust—and we are working together to make that a reality for every MPS student.
