National P.O. Soapbox Day is a decentralized grassroots event that creates an opportunity to:
(1) build community and (2) provide participants with ways to take action on behalf of a vital and cherished institution - the U.S. Postal Service.

Dismayed by new calls to privatize the postal service, we wondered how we could spread the message far and wide that "The U.S. Mail Is Not For Sale!"

Inspired by similar teach-in events, it came to us:

• WE provide a toolkit & teach-in materials
• YOU arrange a location or online platform to host your teach-in

Our Toolkit and Workshop Template (with detailed speaker notes) will illustrate what’s involved and equip you with everything you need to host your own customizable community teach-in. Our social media graphics and flyers are coming very soon to help you publicize your event and spread the message that the U.S. Mail Is Not For Sale!

Like the postal service itself, the infrastructure is all here. Now we need folks to deliver for our postal service and host a "Hands Off USPS!" teach-in in your community.
