Nature by the Taff is a local nature action group centred on Taffs Well, Gwaelod y Garth, Tongwynlais, Nantgarw and Pentyrch.

In a time when one in six species in Wales is at risk of extinction, we aim as a group to:

• Create opportunities to connect with nature.

• Take action to help nature to thrive.

• Support local and national decision makers to take action on the climate and ecological emergencies.

• Share the natural wealth we have with other communities.

• Promote a local, engaged democracy and sustainable ways of living.

We are focussing on this area:

We run monthly community events to explore and engage with the incredible nature that we have in our area. We also meet up in the pub once a month, to plan our events and meaningful local action to help people and nature here.
