The Naugatuck Valley Project, Inc. (NVP), founded in 1983, is a network of 24 faith-based congregations, local labor organizations, and affordable housing cooperative communities representing 10,000 residents in the Naugatuck Valley. NVP is dedicated to addressing the root causes of social injustice and working in the public arena to bring about fundamental change in our communities, region, state, and nation. NVP trains leaders to identify issues of concern, research the issues, develop workable solutions for change, and educate and activate members of their organizations to act together to bring about positive change.
