The Nurses Shift Change is a national call to action uniting nurses to reclaim the soul of the profession through advocacy, humanity, and collective power. Rooted in the principles of Humanity, Ethics, Science, and Social Justice (HESS), we mobilize nurses to lead beyond the bedside, confront systemic injustice, and shape a future where equity and compassion guide healthcare for all. Through initiatives like the Report for Duty Rally, we activate the voice of nursing to protect our communities, uplift our colleagues, and demand transformative change in health and society.
