New York City Young Democratic Socialists of America (NYC-YDSA) is a socialist youth and student organization principally based on university, college, and high school campuses throughout New York City. NYC-YDSA is a regional organization of the Young Democratic Socialists of America (YDSA), representing all YDSA chapters within NYC, their membership, and all other eligible youth and students. It is also the intermediary between YDSA chapters and the local chapter of the YDSA's parent organization, the New York City Democratic Socialists of America (NYC-DSA). NYC-YDSA aspires to become the youth wing of a mass socialist party which represents the depth and breadth of the multinational and multiracial working class.
