The Organization United for Respect at Walmart (OUR Walmart) is a leader in the movement of low-wage workers and the fight for higher wages and better working conditions. Shortly after the protests at nearly 1,400 Walmart stores on Black Friday 2014, OUR Walmart members won a historic wage increase that brought $1 billion in raises to over 500,000 Walmart workers. OUR Walmart has also effectively challenged Walmart’s scheduling and pregnancy policies in partnership with leading workers’ and women’s organizations and played an active role in efforts to win minimum wage and sick day policies at the local level.  

OUR Walmart is continuing the fight for $15 and Full Time at Walmart and to improve working conditions.
