About Out-Out Groups UK

Out-Out is Rugby’s independent grassroots LGBT+ operated & friendly, activist & social justice community group.

We are member-funded, people-powered, and proudly unaffiliated with any political party or religious institution.

We take action when others won’t—through creative protest, solidarity campaigns, community care, and coalition organising. Our activism centres those most marginalised: migrants, refugees, people of colour, disabled, neurodivergent, or working class. Any individuals within any and/or all of these vulnerable groups may also be LGBT+.

We campaign on LGBT+ & social justice rights, anti-racism, anti-fascism, housing justice, migrant solidarity, trans liberation, peace and demilitarisation, and we fight to fundamentally change or dismantle systems that harm vulnerable communities—including the police, hostile immigration policy setting, and institutional silence.

We are formally affiliated with Stand Up To Racism, Stop The War Coalition, and the LGBT+ Consortium, and we believe in solidarity that goes way beyond branding & hashtags.

Out-Out welcomes anyone who shares our values—especially those willing to use their own privilege not to speak over others, but to lift them up. We welcome, and need, real allies, not performative ones. If you’re ready to show up, stand up, and give a shit, there’s absolutely a place for you here.
