We are a grassroots assembly of people and groups that advocate the preservation of nature as the primary value and use of publicly owned National Parks. This can be formally specified as 'The Cardinal Principle' of National Park management.

We fully support equitable public access to National Parks for uses that remain securely subordinate and respectful to that primary purpose.

We oppose and deplore all efforts to exploit National Parks for commercial purposes.

Our organisation is convened to take all reasonable action toward exposing and preventing such exploitative ventures. It also acts to generate public awareness of methods and opportunities that can best realise outcomes consistent with The Cardinal Principle and public use within that principle.

We believe that this approach is fully consistent with the necessary achievement of First Nation's cultural outcomes upon protected areas given the essentially similar constructs of Caring for Country and The Cardinal Principle.
