Maine DSA Public Health Working Group (PHWG) builds community for those isolated due to our government’s mismanagement of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and other public health crises, works with allied organizations in interconnected struggles such as the fight for universal healthcare, and works to increase understanding of public health, accessibility, and disability justice in our communities. As part of this effort, we hold safe, accessible social events to demonstrate that protecting each other’s health and ensuring everyone can participate in public life is not hard to do and benefits everyone.
