RISE is the only domestic abuse charity in Brighton and Hove. Our services are a lifeline to local families affected by domestic abuse. We offer legal help, group sessions, therapy (including counselling) as well as case work, a helpline and a refuge for women and their children. We can help children from abusive environments by providing one-to-one play therapy. We also have a dedicated LGBTQ+ service, which includes the first ever LGBTQ+ domestic abuse helpline - as well as LGBTQ+ case workers and refuge.
