ROC-SOS is a coalition of community members, leaders, and labor (Rochester Teachers Association & Rochester Association of Paraprofessionals) fighting for equitable education funding.

Rochester public schools should be safe and welcoming environments where parents want to send their kids, where educators want to work and where every student is valued and can thrive. We must focus on solutions that will create the adequately funded, well managed school system our kids deserve.

Parents and students must not lose their voice in this process; these are some of the most important voices to have at the table. We call upon the federal government, New York State Governor, Legislature and our elected leaders to adequately fund our schools so that we all can work collaboratively towards solutions for the benefit of Rochester's students.
