RLBC members can participate in our Rapid Action Network (RAN). This group engages with policymakers in Austin at critical points in the legislative cycle regarding issues that align with the focus areas noted above. The team captain sends a text message with a link to the applicable action summary/script, and the RAN makes phone calls to the appropriate legislators as instructed. This process has proven very effective at impacting the lawmaking process.
