No Oakland Without Us: Take 10-15 minutes to share your story

We have launched a citywide survey of small businesses and worker co-ops on what we need to thrive. We’ve already received a significant wave of input from businesses across Oakland, and the stories are surfacing powerful themes revealing the structural roots of these problems and pointing to solutions for a more equitable, people-centered economy. Complete our survey by Nov 14th.

Led by Restore Oakland and the REAL People’s Fund, we exist to organize the small businesses to contest for power and become active daily stewards in governing our communities. We know people want an economy that works for them, rather than against them. BIPOC small businesses are the backbone of Oakland’s economy. Without community ownership, we risk losing the vibrancy and culture that make our cities livable. If there are no people, there is no economy.
