The REAL People's Organizing Collective (RPOC) is a member-led space that centers the needs of Black, Indigenous, Latinx, AAPI small businesses, co-ops and entrepreneurs of color, in the East Bay to organize towards an abundant economy that is grounded in care not extraction.

We launched a citywide survey of small businesses and worker co-ops on what we need to thrive. We’ve already received a significant wave of input from businesses across Oakland, and the stories are surfacing powerful themes revealing the structural roots of these problems and pointing to solutions for a more equitable, people-centered economy.
