The purpose of this group is to support the family of Ryan Stokes as they work to end qualified immunity in Missouri.

For the last 11 years, Ryan's family has been on a mission to hold the Kansas City Police Department accountable for the death of their son and father.

We are building a grassroots movement in Missouri to abolish qualified immunity.

Qualified Immunity shields Police officers from any accountability for the harm they cause. This shield has given police officers the green light to commit some of the most egregious crimes without fear of punishment or consequence.

We cannot allow police officers to go unchecked. It is our responsibility to ensure that our tax dollars are spent in ways that build up and strengthen our communities. We cannot begin to do this without dealing with qualified immunity.
