San Fernando Valley CA is a Los Angeles-based chapter of Climate Reality, an educational, worldwide grassroots organization that trains and develops climate leaders. Founded by Vice President Al Gore, the Climate Reality Leadership Corps deliver presentations on the harmful effects of climate change and ways to address climate change at the grassroots level.  (www.sfvclimatereality.org)

The San Fernando Valley Chapter encourages climate activism at the local level. Early in 2019, we were instrumental in getting Los Angeles County to join the nation-wide County Climate Coalition, which commits to uphold the Paris Agreement to limit Green House Gas emissions.

We meet monthly via Zoom on the second Tuesday of each month. We welcome newcomers who want to help ensure a better future by advancing climate change and sustainability. You do not have to have completed a Climate Reality training in order to attend our meetings. Register at bit.ly/SFVCR.
