Save The Ontario Fire College

As Canada’s first fire college, the Ontario Fire College has been operating in Gravenhurst since 1958, providing firefighters and other emergency services workers from across Ontario with state-of-the-art training and education. On average, between 3,000 to 5,000 full-time and volunteer firefighters from across the province attend the College annually.

The College is the “Centre of Excellence” for fire service training in Ontario, employing subject matter experts in all three lines of defence (Public Fire & Life Safety Education, Fire Code Inspections & Enforcement, and Fire Suppression). These instructors work together to provide the highest level of fire service training to both new and seasoned firefighters.

If the College closes, it will be a tremendous loss for professional firefighters, communities across the province, and the Town of Gravenhurst. Moreover, it comes at the worst of all possible times.
There’s a lot on the line here. We're asking for your help to keep the Ontario Fire College in Gravenhurst and ensure Ontario’s firefighters remain the world’s finest.
