Seattle Cruise Control

Seattle, WA

We are volunteers—climate activists, scientists, students, business people, teachers, health workers, and concerned residents. We were spurred to action by the Port of Seattle’s plan to build a third cruise terminal (now canceled), further damaging an environment already showing serious effects from our global climate emergency. While resisting the new terminal, we learned that massive cruise ships also harm water quality, marine life, and public health, while relying on a business model of labor exploitation and “flying flags of convenience” to avoid federal taxes and regulations. Please support our actions that work towards a transition to a cruise-free Salish Sea!
