The Sibling Transformation Project
The Sibling Transformation Project brings together siblings of people with intellectual, developmental, and other disabilities to transform our communities. We believe that inner work is core to social transformation – and thus center coaching and embodied practices in our approach. Our core program is a 6-month leadership development program to support siblings with coaching, deep connection with peers, political education, and training on the issues and organizing. Our participants are already leaders in their local disability and family support organizations, and together we are forming a new kind of disability family organization that follows the lead of the Disability Justice movement in a commitment to anti-ableism and anti-racism in our work.
